Privacy Policy
Daily Dua
Effective Date: January 5th, 2025
Lunaire Labs LLC ("us," "we," or "our") operates the Daily Dua mobile application (the "App").
This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
We collect limited information to provide and improve our App. Since our App does not require account creation, we collect minimal personal data.
2.1 Personal Data & Storage We have designed the App to minimize data collection. Your User Content (reflections, moods, notes) is stored locally on your device only. We do not store this content on our servers and therefore cannot read, access, or share your personal reflections.
2.2 Authentication We use Google Firebase to manage anonymous authentication. This assigns a unique ID to your instance of the App to manage your subscription status, but it does not require you to provide your name, email, or phone number.
We may collect limited usage data automatically, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data to help us improve the App's performance and functionality.
We want to be clear about what we do not collect:
• We do not collect your name or email address (unless you contact us for support)
• We do not collect location data
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies
• We do not use analytics tools to track your behavior
Lunaire Labs LLC uses the collected data for the following purposes:
• To provide and maintain the App
• To provide you with personalized Quranic verses based on your mood
• To store your personal notes for your own access
• To send you push notifications (reminders, feature updates, and promotional messages)
• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
• To improve and optimize the App
We may send you push notifications, including reminders to use the App, daily dua reminders, updates about new features, and promotional messages. You can opt out of receiving push notifications at any time by adjusting your device settings or within the App settings.
6.1 User Content (Reflections) Since your User Content is stored locally on your device, you have full control. You may delete individual notes or use the "Delete All Reflections" button to immediately clear your data without deleting your account.
6.2 Account Deletion & 14-Day Grace Period If you choose to delete your entire account, we do not delete your data immediately. Instead, we wait 14 days to ensure the request was intentional.
7. Data Storage and Security 7.1 Local Storage Your User Content is stored locally on your device's internal memory (e.g., via SQLite or similar local database technologies). We do not host, view, or have access to this content on our own servers.
7.2 Security Measures We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect the limited data we do handle (such as your anonymous authentication ID in Firebase), but please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your information, including User Content, may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data to the United States and process it there. Your use of the App followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
If Lunaire Labs LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Lunaire Labs LLC may disclose your data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
• Comply with a legal obligation
• Protect and defend the rights or property of Lunaire Labs LLC
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App
• Protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public
• Protect against legal liability
10. Third-Party Service Providers
These third parties have access to your data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

14. App Store Data Sharing (Apple & Google) By using our App and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of limited data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with your app store provider (Apple Inc. or Google Inc.), specifically to assist in resolving refund requests or subscription status disputes.
This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with the purchased content. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with the respective policies of Apple and Google and only as necessary to process your requests.
