Lunaire Labs LLC ("us," "we," or "our") operates the Align mobile application (the "App").

This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect limited information to provide and improve our App. To provide you with your bias assessment history and tracking, we utilize a secure authentication system.

2. Types of Data Collected

2.1 Account Information

When you sign up for Align, we collect your email address and authentication credentials to create a secure account. This allows you to access your Mindset Card and assessment history across multiple devices.

2.2 Assessment Data (User Content)

When you complete an Implicit Association Test (IAT) or other assessments within the App, we store your results (including scores related to race, gender, sexuality, and disability bias) and your assigned Archetype. This data is stored on our secure servers (hosted by Supabase) and is linked to your user account. Your Assessment Data is strictly private and is used solely to generate your personal analytics and progress tracking.

2.3 Usage Data

We may collect limited usage data automatically, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data to help us improve the App's performance and functionality.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

• We do not collect your physical location data

• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies for advertising

• We do not sell your personal assessment scores to third parties

4. Use of Data

Lunaire Labs LLC uses the collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App

• To generate your personal Mindset Card and Archetype

• To track your progress in bias reduction over time

• To send you push notifications (reminders to re-test, feature updates, and educational content)

• To detect, prevent, and address technical issues

• To improve and optimize the App's algorithms

5. Push Notifications

We may send you push notifications, including reminders to take your monthly assessment, updates about new training modules, and promotional messages. You can opt out of receiving push notifications at any time by adjusting your device settings or within the App settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and Assessment Data for as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at Support@lunairelabs.com.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your Assessment Data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase. We utilize Row Level Security (RLS) and encryption standards to protect your sensitive data. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Transfer of Data

Your information, including Assessment Data, may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data to the United States and process it there. Your use of the App followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

9. Disclosure of Data

9.1 Business Transfers

If Lunaire Labs LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

9.2 Legal Requirements

Lunaire Labs LLC may disclose your data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation

• Protect and defend the rights or property of Lunaire Labs LLC

• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the App

• Protect the personal safety of users of the App or the public

• Protect against legal liability

10. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party service providers to help us operate the App:

Google Authentication: We use Google OAuth to securely manage user logins. For more information, please visit Google's privacy policy.

RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and process payments through the Apple App Store. For more information, please visit RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

These third parties have access to your data only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

11. Your Data Protection Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.

Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.

Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data.

Right to Restrict Processing: You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.

13. Children's Privacy

Our App is available to users of all ages. However, children under the age of 13 require parental or guardian consent to use the App.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at Support@lunairelabs.com. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

14. Apple App Store

By using our App and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests. This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with the purchased content. The purpose of sharing this data is to help Apple make an informed decision regarding refund requests. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests.

15. Links to Other Sites

Our App may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted.
